Littlephant is a Scandinavian interior products and kid’s brand founded by Camilla Lundsten.
In 2012 Camilla created the brand Littlephant, carrying her own line of living and interior products, to be able to work sustainably from start to finish and with sensible products made by heart.
Littlephant make locally produced, high quality interior textiles, wallpaper, and selected products for living with Camilla’s characteristic style.
Everything is designed in our Studio in Stockholm, made with only high quality natural materials, working with minimal waste production and together with skilled craftsmen in Sweden and Northern Europe.
Littephant also have a kids collection and a character universe, which is a separate unit within the company named Littlephant Play. A range of children’s books and stories, selected creative play and organic toys made to boost kids imagination.
Littlephant’s interior products serve private customers, Interior Designers, Architects, Upholsterers and bespoke curtain makers around the world, in projects for private homes and public spaces like hotels, restaurants and offices.

World wide representation and collaborations
The products are also bought by selected shops and are available at the webshop Littlephant.com serving customers world wide.
The brand is represented by a distributor in Japan as well as by agents in other parts of the world.
Many successful brand collaborations have been made during the years. Amongst others with several Japanese products brands, Matsuya Ginza and kids wear label Futafuta.
Other examples are multiple collections of organic kids wear for the brand Lindex world wide, the Asian division of Le Sport Sac and Bemz soft furnishing covers and Swedish organic wool blanket maker Klippan.
In 2016 Littlephant was guest of honour at the prominent department store Le Bon Marché in Paris.
Littlephant was chosen by the Swedish Institute for their exhibition “Little Library”, touring around the world and launching at the Swedish Embassy in Washington D.C. The textiles and wallpaper decorates the exhibitions and the play products and books are represented, in good company with the two other selected Scandinavian brands IKEA and BRIO.
LITTLEPHANT PLAY & THE KIDS CHARACTER UNIVERSE
The children’s character universe is based on a little red elephant named Littlephant, who initially gave the name to the brand.
In 2008 the little red elephant character Littlephant was born through Camilla’s stories for children. It was this imaginary little fellow who gave her the courage to start a brand of her own. Today the character universe and stories and the interior products are separate units.
The stories about the character and his friends is created to help young children explore themselves and their world in a pedagogical way. The importance of friendship and to keep curiosity and creativity flowing. In many ways this universe also help adults discover their playfulness again too.
Several books have been published in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. All together 240.000 books have been sold and the love for the character and his friends have spread to children and families.
The stories have recently been published in English through the audio book streaming service Getepic.com.
The character universe “The great small adventured of Littlephant and his friends” is growing and the first steps for an animated serie is being developed.
